April 22, 2024 - What are you waiting for?

Joshua 24:1-33

Luke 21:1-28

Psalm 89:38-52

Proverbs 13:20-23

Psalm 89:47 Remember how fleeting is my life.

For what futility you have created all humanity!

48 Who can live and not see death,

or who can escape the power of the grave?

If we were to live our lives as if it were fleeting perhaps, we would live in a way that our life would not be futile. No one can escape death and we never know when it will come. But as Christians we know that death of this body is not the end. Thanks to Jesus who conquered death we will live again. That should motivate us to live a life that witnesses to others. It should motivate us to seek out the lost and point them to Jesus. We know what we have to look forward to when our life in this world ends and we should want everyone to know the same. What are you waiting for? Life is fleeting live like it is.
