Psalm 25:4 Show me your ways, Lord,
teach me your paths.
5 Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.
6 Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you, Lord, are good.
When I read these verses I thought of a man I met yesterday. I sat with him for 2 hours listening to his story and it was quite the roller coaster ride. From the highs of diligently walking with God to the lows of walking in the world. I am going to share these verses with him as a prayer. I know that this is an appropriate prayer for me and I am sure for you as well. We need to remember who we are and the sinful state we come from and the goodness of God. We will not seek His truth and walk on the narrow path on our own. We need His help. Ask and you will receive His guidance, mercy, love and forgiveness. Seek to make Him the King of your heart and know that the Lord is good.
