1 Corinthians 1:10 I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.
This is a difficult thing. I am grateful for Pastor Amy for her wisdom in advising me not to do something that would cause division in my church. There are things in my church that I am not perfectly united in my thought and mind about. I think that the key to being perfectly united in mind and thought is for everyone in the church to be united with Christ and seeking guidance from Him, And to humbly surrender to His will. But that would be the perfect world, and we won't get to experience that until we are living on the new earth. So, I must seek Him and ask Him what do I do about my lack of unity of mind regarding some things in the church. For there to be no division I need Him to either change my mind or tell me to move on to another church because I know that the church denominational doctrines are not going to change. So, Lord I ask that you would speak your servant is listening.
