Genesis
21 She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”
22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.
Healing can come from faith. There are other times when Jesus heals for other reasons but this time the healing happens by the power of Jesus through her faith. Cool that in our faith the power of Jesus can flow is we just reach out in faith. But it must be God's will.
34 But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.”
Then you have those who profess to be of great faith who cannot see Him for who He is. What a ridiculous statement. Similarly ridiculous statements are made by unbelievers today.
Psalms
4 The Lord is in his holy temple;
the Lord is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth;
his eyes examine them.
God sees all. He knows all.
Matthew
29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; 30 and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.” 31 But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.
Again they were healed according to their faith. And even though Jesus told them to keep it to themselves they couldn't.
Proverbs
11 My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline,
and do not resent his rebuke,
12 because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in.
Mathew:
37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
this is still so true today, there are so many people that do not know Jesus, and still not enough people out there, sharing him with the world.
That is why it is important for us to take every opportunity that God puts in front of us to shine light on each and every person in our path to help as many peoples we can know Jesus.
