Romans 8:5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
This verse reminds me a sermon I heard last night at the Church of God Camp Meeting worship service. The theme is "Give Hope Bring Light to the Darkness" (Isaiah 42:6). She ended her sermon with a call for 3 things.
To come into God's presence of the Almighty God and walk in His presence. If we are not walking in the presence of God we will be doing things on our own. Having our own ideas and making our own plans. I relate today's scripture to this because in we would be living according to the flesh and will be making decisions based on our fleshly desires. Even the things that we think are for good and for God. We need to be in God's presence to get in the Spirit and in the Spirit is how we are able to walk with Him.
Walk in discipleship. Which means walking with God, day in and day out when it is convenient and when it is inconvenient. Opening the bible and do more than read it but walk in it and become a covenant people. As we read, we learn, and as we learn we align ourselves with God's word. Because those who "live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on that the Spirit desires." As we align with God the Light gets brighter and others see Christ.
Let Him heal your Spiritual vision and restore the mission. We should not be more concerned about how we do church than how we win the lost. We need to have a passion for the lost.
We from the rest of scripture that the Spirits desires include a desire for all to be saved and that should be where our hearts are when we are living in accordance with the Spirit.

I was watching a movie last night on some weird channel FREEVEE or something like that. I happened across it by accident. I do not recall the name of the movie. It was ok. Not horrible, just ok. It was not necessarily a spiritual movie, it was basic, but there was one bible verse that they said…. when they said it, I was reminded of how much I loved that verse and thought, I need to write that down again and memorize.
