Romans 10:14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Hmmmm maybe my feet are not beautiful because I am not bringing the good news.
I believe in my heart that I want to, and I try to be aware of the opportunities that God gives me, but I still feel I am not doing all I can.
Proverbs 20:4 Sluggards do not plow in season;
so at harvest time they look but find nothing.
I think at times it could be because I am being a sluggard. When I read this today I am thinking of the harvest of believers in Jesus second coming. In the book "The Bema" by Tim Stevenson he paints a picture of what it will be like in heaven. And at the judgement seat (the bema) your life is reviewed. That review shows you all the lives that you impacted for the kingdom. It is so well written and the best way to understand what we can look forward to at the harvest.
I used to have multiple copies to share with people but they are all gone. I think I will get another one to reread.
