Proverbs 18:15 The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge,
for the ears of the wise seek it out.
I often pray for wisdom and discernment. The only way to receive it is to seek it out. Being in the word of God in as many ways as possible is the only way to acquire knowledge and wisely discern what is in line with God. Surround yourself with the word of God. We can only hear when we listen. Read the Bible. Listen to sermons and Christian podcasts. Read Christian books and devotionals. Look for opportunities to know the word more. And in all this do it prayerfully expecting God to respond.
