1 Kings 12:28 After seeking advice, the king made two golden calves. He said to the people, “It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem. Here are your gods, Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.”


It is interesting that it is a gold calf AGAIN and that so many other religions worship cows or consider them sacred. The cow was one of the god's of Egypt so I guess it makes sense why the Israelites made a cow in the desert but why a cow this time? I haven't found an answer for this yet. Let me know if you have any ideas. Maybe it's because Jeroboam was a COWard.
