ISAIAH 6:1-7:25
2 CORINTHIANS 11:16-33
PSALM 54:1-7
PROVERBS 23:1-3
Reading Isaiah 6 today I hear music that will be in my head all day long I pray. Sing with me!
Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”
This first one was one of the first Christian songs that impacted my life. It was the first time I was brought to Spirit filled weeping and surrender at a Praise and Worship time for a different church. My dear friend Tammy took me there. It was early in my walk and a big step in my spiritual growth. In verse 1 where this says "high and exalted" can also be translated "high and lifted up".
Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
The last song was the one I felt the Spirit pulling at me this morning.
